Mariebm56 asked if I had enhanced this picture so I thought I'd share the original unedited shot. I leveled the image out and cropped it down to just the strip of cars, switched it to grayscale and finally, I enhanced the edges to intensify the light reflected off the tops to created the image below. Just a note about the original shot, of all those snowcovered mountains in the background, which was the target of this shot to begin with... only Pikes Peak to the right is actually a mountain. The rest, starting immediately to the left of the highest point of the peak and all the way across the background of the picture are clouds! At first review of my shots I was disappointed by the lack of clarity in the clouds, but then my eyes were drawn to the light reflected off of the cartops. Needless to say I am easily amused and impressed.
Thank you so much for posting this. It is a great shot of the mountains too. I am glad you easily amused, I probably wouldn't have notices the silhouette of the cars.
