The peacocks at the zoo have free range of the grounds. For something as beautiful as the peacock, they sure have an annoying cry.
Oh I love peacocks, and yes they make a wretched noise!!

Wow, these are awesome, would you look at how long this peacocks tail feathers are. We have a neighborhood peacock or 2 or 3 or 4 that roam around in our yards and especially ours since our hill is the highest. They tend to roast in the tallest live oak tree. Their roaming, I afraid, sometimes leaves their feathers kind of broken and shabby. However this time of year the new growth is back and they do look beautiful don't they.
