  4. I soooooo miss seeing Pike's Peak in the Fall and Winter.  Even without the snow, it is still a pretty mountain.  My husband went up to the summitt while he was there this past June.  We have not gotten those photos developed yet, but you can bet your bottom dollar, I will post them as soon as I get them developed.  This is a lovely photo, Jody.  Doesn't it look like a giant hand sprinkled powdered sugar across the top?  That is what I always thought anyway.  Hubby is going to miss his big hunt this year with his brothers now that we are back in Alabama.  ::sigh:: That meat really helped with the grocery bill.

    Blessings!~

  12. Wow!  Snow already?!  Our mountains had a dusting of snow a couple of weeks ago, but we've had very nice weather since and it's all gone.  Soon enough, the snow will return and stay for awhile.  ;)  Beautiful photo, as always!

  14. The sharp detail of the trees and the vast distance of the mountains.  It must be wonderful to be surrounded by such a spectacle.  I was just wondering how many people climb to the peaks.   I would guess mainly in the summer months.    mark
