My first sunset of the New Year. The sun is my favorite subject to photograph, I just love the ever changing colors. This picture was taken at Turkey Creek on Fort Carson, Colorado.
When I take shots like this or see such a beautiful sunrise/sunset, I feel very egocentric....all the elements in nature lined up JUST FOR ME to see this.
Great shot, Dorn....I will have to look at your history but would like to see comments about equipment used, techniques, etc.
I love pictures of sunsets, clouds, flowers, wildlife, children.........and the list goes on. There were many in Colorado that I missed that I wish I had not now that I no longer live there, although I did get a few.

Beautiful Dorn. I tried to take a pic of the sun this morning but it didnt turn out right. Maybe I should try evenings when it's not quite as bright.
