ROUND ROBIN PHOTO CHALLENGE: MAGIC

Main Entry: ²magic
Function: adjective
1 : of or relating to magic
2 a : having seemingly supernatural qualities or powers
b : giving a feeling of enchantment

The honey bee depends upon the sunflower for nourishment.  The flower relies on the bee for pollination.  Its fascinating, isn't it, how intertwined life of all shape and size really is. While I may understand the complexities of life more now than I did as a child playing in the field behind our house, it still captivates and amazes me. It was never parlor tricks performed with the wave of a wand or an 'abra cadabra' chanted amidst a poof of smoke that kept me spell bound.  It was the wonders of nature, that was real magic to the 6 year old child that was once and still is 'me'.

I've spent hours watching bees so I know what you mean! I'm constantly amazed by the little life moments I see. They seem to get more intense the older I become. Guess that's part of the magic ;-)

How'd I miss this one on the last round of Round Robins?  It's great!  Came by to see if you'd posted your macro entry, and I think this one works very well, there, too!    Linda (Lou)  (www.blahblahblog.wordpress.com)

I don't think I really learned to appreciate the beauty of nature until we moved to Colorado.  That is when I really became interested in photographing it.  I always loved our drives into the mountains.  I so miss that.

Wonderful pic.

Blessings!~
