My youngest son Art stands maybe just a little too close for comfort during our recent 4th of July celebration. This year was extra special, my oldest son Gabe was home on leave. He is scheduled to deploy to Iraq at the end of summer so this was a very special time for us.

Very good. My prayers are with your son Gabe. Helen
That is a very interesting way to photograph fireworks...I like it! Glad Gabe was home for the holidays before going overseas.

Ohmahgosh! I love the pictures. This one is very neat looking the contrast between the fireworks and the night sky and shadow of the figure is so cool. VEry nice job.
Prayers for your family and Gabe. I'm glad he was able to be home with you for the holiday.
THANK God I found your journal [S] again! How on Earth could I have lost this
wonderful sight-or should I say, site? lol Your pictures are ALL outstanding, I
just looked at each entry here, and I decided to comment at your latest-but
the fox in the snow pictures are beauitful! [I'll try to go bk when I have extra time,
and leave a nice comment-promise!] I do recall reading Dust Bunnies-quite awhile ago tho-I will catch up! If private-would love to come back? And yes-I recall
Letters To Gabe-wonderful journal-who is home on leave now, right? Give me
a little time-I'll refresh my bad memory and will return! ~Diane~
PS: I'm ashamed to leave MY link-my journal entry's STINK compared to yours!
THANKS for sharing... http://journals.aol.com/dizarra/StorysFromtheCityTalesFromtheSea
