This is how the Moon looked at 4:00 pm over Colorado. How I would love to look down to the Earth from a distance like that. That is my only childhood dream that has not come true... yet! This was taken with my brand new Nikon D70 with a 300mm zoom.
This is just me messing around with my Paint Shop Pro. I did a mirror effect on some flags I found near Grand Junction, Colorado in July of 2004 and thought it was interesting how the American flag resembled a folded paper airplane blasting off into the sky.

Santa Monica Pier, July 2004. I first took this picture in color on my CyberShot, and the preview was all washed out but the composition was so appealing that I switched to black and white and tried again with this result. Once upon a time I swore by the SLR 35mm as being the best camera, but I'm really loving the versatility of a digital.
