Just one of the many flowers left at the memorials on Veterans Day.

The rose looks so perfectly formed. It's beautiful and is a fitting reminder of the ugly wars where the servicemen gave their lives to let us enjoy beauty such as this. Jeannette. http://journals.aol.co.uk/jlocorriere05/Welcometomytravels
very touching. I love yellow roses. This reminds me of a trip to The Wall in DC ... my sister and I stood sobbing ... nose dripping ... can't catch your breath ... gutteral noises sobbing at the statue after having walked through and watched loved one trace names ... there is just something about being there and I've been to the traveling wall too ... similar emotions with a touch less impact. It's something you never forget. EVER. Thank YOU to ALL Veterans!
VERY BEAUTIFUL. IT REMINDED ME OF MY HUSBAND. HE OWN A BINGO HALL AND A CERTAIN PERCENT OF ALL THE PROCEEDS WENT TO THE AMERICAN LEGION POST IN MS. #134. MY HUSBAND USED THAT MONEY FOR SO MANY GREAT CAUSES IN OUR COMMUNITY MAINLY THE SCHOOLS, POLICE, FIREMAN ECT. RONNIE ALWAYS CELEBRATED VETERANS DAY SO PROUDLY. HE ALSO VISITED THE VETERAN HOSPITAL EVERY WEEK AND TOOK THE WARD THAT WAS PARALIZED PIZZA AND HAND DELIVERED IT TO EACH ONE AND A VISIT. NOW MY RONNIE IS IN HEAVEN WITH MANY OF OUR FALLEN HEROS AND IS SO MISSED BY SO MANY. COME VISIT MY RANCH HE MAKE THE MONEY TO BUY WITH THAT AMERICAN LEGION BINGO HE OWNED FOR 30 YRS. http://journals.aol.com/judypearllove/ToBlessedToBeStressed/
What a nice commentary on Veteran's day....thanks, Dorn...it has so hard to imagine what our service people are going to without having nightmares....they need all our thoughts and prayers.
