The pelicans have left the pond. I'm always so sad to see them leave. Here a red-winged blackbird flys shotgun with his large white cousin. Have a safe journey my friend and see you next summer.

Lovely place, and photo. Our pelicans left about a month ago, I agree it is sad. But fall is still my favorite time of year.
