CLYDESDALE TEAM

The first beer I ever had was a Budweiser.  Why?  Well, because of the Budweiser Clydesdales of course!  My taste in beer has changed over the years, but I still love the beautiful Clydesdales.  The team was at a Military Appreciation program on Fort Carson today.  By the time I got there it was already dark, but the horses patiently tolerated my flash.  As big as they are, I still wanted to throw my arms around their necks and give them a big hug.  I probably would have too, if I could reach that high!

My X's family had an Anheisier Busch dist. company, after his parents died they had a yard sale, they made over $3,000.  and probly could have made more if they would have auctioned it off.  most of it was the Clydesdale's.

Great picture. I have had the pleasure of seeing them one time a long time ago. They sure are big and have the biggest feet. Helen

Love them! 2 teams are usually here in NO for Mardi Gras. The teams always fascinate me. They are so tolerant!
Thanks for the portrait!

Very nice! They are so beautiful and strong. You have no idea how much a set of harness for a large team weighs... but I used to help put 'plain' harness on a team of horses and it weighed almost as much as me.... the "show' harness weighs more, but is broken into two peices so it is easier to put on... There you go, more than you wanted to know about harness <g>
