There are no big billboards blocking the scenery in town, what you will find are advertising murals painted on the sides of buildings, and these quaint sidewalk signs.

What a great collection of signs! You are right! The community is doing a wonderful job of keeping the "age appropriate" decor! What a treat and how nice of you to share! Lisa
LOL! Just noticed the name...The Brass Ass! Too funny! Lisa
I like those signs MUCH better than what you usually find with everyone trying to be bigger and flashier than the next guy... These are beautiful... and really help retain the 'old-time' flavor..

Wish that was how it was done down here in Florida, and maybe there are a few PUD type communities that pass their own rules and do something similar to what they do in Cripple Creek....but as a general rule, billboards are everywhere and everyone right down to real estate agents advertise theirselves on them. We could do without those. Hurricanes whop the tar out of them and sprew debris from them everywhere.
